Playing Blind
A blind player hasn't looked at their cards. Blind bets are usually equal to the current stake up to twice it, which makes staying in cheaper.
Playing Seen (Chaal)
After looking, you become seen. Seen bets are usually two to four times the current stake. Seen players also get options such as asking for a side show.
Why Stay Blind?
- It costs less per turn.
- It can put pressure on seen players.
- It doesn't make your cards better. It's still luck.
